From unopened boxes to a clear plan
Send the product link or model number, the number of pieces, and the room where the furniture will be used. Clear a safe working area and check that all boxes have arrived.
A sensible scope, with clear limits
Damaged or missing parts may delay completion. Manufacturer-required wall anchoring is assessed separately for the available wall construction.
Do I need to open the boxes first?+
No need — but clear a little floor space if you can. We take the cardboard with us when we go.
Is anchoring really necessary?+
For anything tall or climbable, yes — manufacturers require it, and it takes us minutes. Cheap insurance.
What should I send with my request?+
Include close-up and wider photos, approximate dimensions, your town, and your preferred timing. Don’t include private medical details or sensitive information.
Are materials included?+
Material requirements and who supplies them are agreed as part of the quote. Matching existing finishes may depend on what products are available.
Can this be combined with other small jobs?+
Tell us about the full list. We can review which jobs fit together, rather than assuming every repair needs a separate visit.

Know what happens before anyone gets started.
We begin by understanding your priority and checking whether the task is suitable for a handyman visit. Photos and dimensions can help, but a phone conversation is a perfectly good place to start.
Before the visit, agree who will supply parts, how the working area will be accessed, and who can approve the work. Tell us about pets, fragile belongings, or times when the household needs quiet.
Once the agreed work is complete, ask for a walkthrough and any instructions about drying, curing, weight limits, or using newly fitted items. If another trade or specialist is needed, that should be part of the conversation.
